New York Fashion Week Fall 2015

MY PICKS The first prêt-à-porter Fashion Week of the year has come to its end and now all eyes are on London, but as always, I leave you all the details of the shows from the Big Apple that I liked the most for your delight.                                                                                                           

ES: La primera Fashion Week de prêt-à-porter ha concluido y ahora todas las miradas se dirigen a Londres, pero como siempre, les dejo todos los detalles de los shows de la Gran Manzana que más me gustaron  para que se deleiten.                      

Narciso Rodríguez was, without a doubt, my favourite. The elegance of his designs makes him one of the most important designers of the last few years. This time, he excelled with symmetrical pieces and a lean silhouette with high-waisted pants in the shades of black, blue and nude with pops of salmon.

ES: Narciso Rodríguez fue, sin dudas, mi preferido. La elegancia de sus diseños hace que sea uno de los diseñadores más importantes de los últimos años. Esta vez, se lució con prendas simétricas de cortes rectos y una silueta estilizada con pantalones a la cintura manteniéndose en la gama del negro, azul y nude con toques de salmón.

The Olsen twins never cease to amaze us, season after season their designs became more exquisite. Having oversize sweaters and coats as a trademark, this time, they combined a-line trousers with slippers, adding small rounder bags to cut off with the straightness.

ES: Las gemelas Olsen no dejan de sorprendernos, temporada tras temporada sus diseños se vuelven cada vez más exquisitos. Teniendo los abrigos y sweaters oversize como marca registrada esta vez los combinaron con pantalones de vestir rectos y slippers, añadiéndole pequeños bolsos de mano circulares para cortar con las lineas rectas. En mi opinión, una de sus mejores colecciones.

Jason Wu is another one of my favourites, his perfectly cut trousers paired up with matching silk blouses, jackets and fur accessories made the collection one of the most outstanding ones of New York.

ES: Jason Wu es otro de mis predilectos, sus pantalones de corte perfecto con blusas de seda a tono, chaquetas y accesorios de piel hicieron de la colección una de las más destacadas de New York.

Finally, Rachel Zoe opted for total looks by dressing most of her models in monochromatic dolly-dresses, being the main colours black, white and red to which she added extra touches of fur, the must-have texture of the season. It was extraordinary.

ES:  Finalmente, Rachel Zoe decidió optar por los total looks al vestir a la mayoría de sus modelos en trajes y dolly-dresses monocromáticos ,siendo los protagonistas el negro, blanco y rojo, a los cuales les agregó pequeños toques de piel, la textura must de la temporada. Estuvo espectacular.

One of the details that I cannot skip are these patent leather shoes by Derek Lam, and regarding beauty, the berry lips and grey eyeshadow makeup look brought to us by Marc Jacobs show it is ideal for winter.

ES: Un detalle que no puedo dejar pasar son estos zapatos de charol de Derek Lam, y en cuanto a belleza, los labios morados con sombra de color gris es un look ideal para el invierno traido a nosotros por Marc Jacobs. 

In the front row of Jason Wu's show, the Argentinian Sofia Sanchez de Betak shone in a brown tone fur coat while Laura Love did it with an incredibly casual chic outfit at Rodarte.

ES: En el front row de Jason Wu la argentina Sofia Sanchez de Betak se lució con un abrigo de piel en tonos marrones mientras que Laura Love lo hizo con un increíble casual-chic outfit en la primera fila de Rodarte.
