10 Wardrobe Basics

#MURSWAYTIP Just as the pyramids couldn't have been build from the top nor you can't start your wardrobe from the latest trend if you don't have the basics in the first place, but don't panic, I promise you that the later is way funnier and simpler than what ancient Egyptians did. Below is my list of the ten timeless pieces every woman should own that can be paired up with almost anything.

ES: Así como las pirámides no se construyeron de arriba hacia abajo tampoco podemos empezar a armar nuestro guardarropa con las últimas tendencias sin antes tener los básicos, pero tranquilas... les prometo que lo último es mucho más simple y divertido de lo  que los Egipcios solían hacer. Acá les enumero las diez prendas atemporales que van con casi todo y cada mujer debe tener.

1- Plain white or black tee: It is the basic of the basics, it goes with jeans, skirts, shorts and even formal pants. You can make it more casual or formal by adding the right accessories.

2- Dark denim jeans: It doesn't matter if they are skinny jeans, baggie, boyfriend, straight or wide leg as long as they suit you right. Why not in a light shade? Simple, because the dusky ones go with everything.

3- Black blazer: This seasonless piece is great to have on hand for when it gets a little chilly. You can wear it with jeans, a tee and pair of flats or over a sexy dress for a night out to tone down the look.

4- White shirt: If there is something you can wear at any time, and I mean anytime, this one is. Whether you take it to work or to football matches it will make you look chic and polished.

5- Basic black pumps: When it comes to shoes these are the most versatile option, perfect for when we don't know what to put on our feet. So if you are planning on buying you first pair of high heels this one, without a doubt, is the right choice.

6- Pencil skirt: Contrary to what most people think this type of skirt is not for working hours only, by pairing it up with a tee or even sweater you can make it more casual.

7- Black pants: They came in many fabrics and shapes, are office-chic and can be worn on the weekend too. Moreover, they make you look slimmer - 10 points to Gryffindor! (Sorry, I'm a Harry Potter fan).

8- Trench /Coat: For when the rains pour down and the days get colder these two Ionics are your long-lasting best friends. Invest in good ones.

9- Ballet flats: Cause they are more comfortable than shoes and more elegant than sneakers.

10- Little Black Dress: Two big names come to my mind when I about the LBD: Chanel and Audrey Hepburn. I think that after it I don't need to say anything more but just in case that it hasn't convinced you yet: this versatile classic can take us from day to night with just a change of accessories.

1- Una remera simple blanca o negra: Es el básico de los básicos, se puede llevar con jeans, faldas, shorts, hasta pantalones de vestir y al añadirle los accesorios adecuados le pueden dar un estilo casual o uno un poco más formal.

2- Jeans oscuros: No importan si son skinny, baggies, boyfriend, rectos u oxford mientras calcen bien. ¿Por qué no en un tono claro? Porque los opacos son más fácil de combinar.

3- Blazer negro: Ideal para tener a mano durante todo el año para esos dìas en los que refresca.Se puede vestir con unos pantalones vaqueros, una remera y un par de chatitas ó sobre un vestido sexy para darle un look más sofisticado en una noche de fiesta.

4- Camisa blanca: Si hay una prenda que se puede usar en cualquier momento, y me refiero a cualquier momento, ésta es. Ya sea que la llevemos al trabajo o a un partido de football siempre vamos a estar impecables.

5- Zapatos negros básicos: Cuando se trata de zapatos estos son la opción más mudable, perfecta para cuando estamos indecisas sobre qué calzado llevar. Así que si alguna está pensando en comprar su primer par de stilettos, sin duda, estos son la elección correcta.

6- Falda tubo: Contrariamente a lo que mucha gente piensa este tipo de prenda  no es sólo para el espacio laboral, al combinarla con una remera o un sweater tienen, instantáneamente, un look más informal.

7- Pantalones negros: Varían en telas y formas, son chic para la oficina y aptos para el fin de semana también. Más aún: estilizan. ¡10 puntos para Gryffindor! (Lo siento, soy fan de Harry Potter).

8- Trench / Abrigo: Cuando la lluvia no para y el frío nos invade estas dos prendas emblemáticas serán tus mejores aliados durante un largo tiempo. Invierte en los buenos, que sean  de calidad.

9- Bailarinas:  Son más cómodas que los zapatos y más elegantes que las zapatillas. 

10- Vestido negro: Dos grandes nombres se me vienen a la mente cuando pienso en él: Chanel y Audrey Hepburn. Creo que después de esto no necesito decir nada más pero por si todavía no las convencí este clásico versátil nos permite llevarlo del día a la noche con sólo un cambio de accesorios.
