Chanel-esque Plus NYC Memories

The weekend is here and with it, all the fun and relaxation that it involves. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to share those with my best friend, who is back from New York City. Usually, every time one of us travel, we meet each other before and after the trip, and this time was not the exception. We got together to have lunch in a quiet little place in town, where we had never been before but it is now, definitely, one of my favourite places. She had, as you can imagine, lots of things to tell me, and with every detail of her trip, she took me back to that magical city in which I had been no more than two months ago. Flashbacks of  Times Square, the Rockefeller Centre at night with its amazing view of the almost whole city, Broadway and all the spectacular shows (I totally recommend The Lion King), and of course, all the shopping and stores in the Fifth Avenue came to my mind, along with the desire of returning as soon as possible. Have you ever heard that famous quote that says "I've left my heart in New York City"? Well, I feel more or less like that. I mean, I haven't left my whole heart in it, but a really big piece for sure.

Anyway, having that conversation with my friend made me realised that I haven't posted anything about my travel to the Big Apple, so in this post apart from showing you my outfit I am going to share some of the pictures that I took while in the city that never sleeps.

But first, let's talk a little bit about fashion. For the occasion, I wanted to be simple with my delaostia jeans and a basic white tee from Zara, but, not that much, so I added the heels. Although as you can see, the big statement of the look is the H&M cardigan ,which, in my opinion,has a Chanel kind-of-style and matches perfectly with that black little bag.

ES: El fin de semana llegó, y junto con él, toda la diversión y relajación que trae. Ayer, tuve la oportunidad de compartir ambas con mi mejor amiga que recién llegó de New York. Usualmente, cada vez que una de las dos viaja, nos encontramos antes y después del mismo, y esta vez no fue la excepción. Nos juntamos a almorzar en un pequeño y tranquilo lugar al cual ninguna había ido antes, pero, que desde hoy, se ha convertido en uno de mis favoritos. Como podrán imaginar tenía muchísimas cosas que contarme, y con cada detalle me transportaba a esa ciudad mágica que había visitado hace no más, de dos meses. Flashbacks de Times Square, del Rockefeller Center de noche con su hermosa vista, Broadway con los gigantes carteles de las distintas obras ( recomiendo la de El Rey León), y por supuesto, todas la compras que se pueden hacer en las tiendas de la Quinta Avenida vinieron a mi mente, junto con las ganas de volver lo antes posible. ¿Alguna vez escucharon la famosa frase que dice "He dejado mi corazón en la ciudad de Nueva York"? Bueno, me siento un poco así, no he dejado mi corazón entero, pero sí una gran parte.

A propósito, al tener esta charla me dí cuenta que no hice ningún post ni publiqué nada de mi viaje a la Gran Manzana. Así que, en éste, aparte de mostrarles mi outfit voy a compartir alguna de las fotos que tomé durante mi visita a la ciudad que nunca duerme.

Pero antes, hablemos un poco de moda. Para la ocasión quise estar simple: con unos jeans de delaostia y una remera básica de Zara, pero, no tanto, por lo cual le agregué unos tacos. Aunque la pieza clave del look es el cardigan de H&M que, en mi opinión, tiene un estilo Chanel que combina perfecto con esa cartera negra.
